Common anchors with multiple docker compose files

Due to this bug: https://github.com/docker/compose/issues/5621, you’ll need a workaround to fix this issue. Given those 2 files:

db.yml

x-restart_pol: &restart_pol
  restart: always
services:
  db:
    <<: *restart_pol
    image: postgres:16.3

app.yml

services:
  frontend:
    <<: *restart_pol
    image: nginx:1.27.0-bookworm

Instead of using this command:

docker compose -f db.yml -f app.yml up -d

you can use:

tail -n +2 app.yml | cat db.yml - | docker-compose.yml - up -d

Build on the fly

services:
  loadbalancer:
    build:
      context: .
      dockerfile: nginx_dockerfile
    ports:
    - "80:80"

command docker-compose -f Composes\docker-compose.yml up --build
